Please tell me in steps how I can put all the info I have on flopy disc only so that if my computer dies i ha?

I have only saved to a disc 80. I never learned how to put it on a disc. I thought that my computer died, but it was in a coma, I want to be prepared since i have files that I wish to save, 80 year old please give me the information in steps so I can be better prepared if this happens again.

forget the floppy drive, buy a USB pen/flash drive its cheap, faster than floppy and even the small ones hold about the same amount of data as 50 floppies
