Why does my iPod touch randomly glitch when typing?
Lately, my ipod touch has been glitching whenever I play songs and use the keyboard. When I start typing, the music skips and also the ipod lags a little bit, but then it’s mostly normal while typing. It also does the same thing whenever I change the keyboard to a different language. It happens in any app that uses the keyboard.
I have a 1st generation 8GB iPod touch, firmware 3.0, not jailbroken. It was jailbroken before I updated it to 3.0, though.
I also have a 1st gen, and I also have the typing problem, i found out that most of my typing problems were due to the auto speller, you start spelling words and if a word is spelled wrong it will automatically switch to a word that is spelled simalar. you also may be low on memory, if you have a ton of songs, apps, and photos on it than you will most likely be running out of memory to perform multiple tasks. Also I’m still on firmware 2.1, so it may be a glitch with the 3.0 firmware. Hope this was helpful.

Conventional phenotypic identification and typing methods have long been the mainstay of microbial population and epidemiological studies, but such methods often lack adequate discrimination and their use is normally confined to the group of organisms for which they were originally devised.
